Who we are


Harleston Information Plus is a registered charity run by a voluntary management board made up of people who all live in the local area. Margaret Griffiths is our Chair and Norman Hart, Vice Chair. 

We also run a trading company, Harleston Information Plus Ltd,  which is owner and landlord of the building housing Metfield Community Stores. All profits from this Ltd Company are gifted to Harleston Information Plus Charity.


Any grants or donation made to Harleston Information Plus go directly to the charity to spend on overheads of our community hub at 8 Exchange Street or the services the charity offers, this income does not go to the Ltd Company.

There are over 40 volunteers involved with the organisation, who provide services, help with events, administration, marketing and IT. Together they work in excess of 3800 voluntary hours each year. 


  



Harleston Information Plus has three part time paid staff members who support the management board and volunteers to provide services.
