Norfolk Dialect Colouring Book

The colouring book has been designed by a group of amateur artists based in South Norfolok under the leadership of professional artist Julie Filmer.  The work originated within the Art for All project, an online art group that met during lockdown, and has been produced in collaboration with Friends of Norfolk Dialect (FOND) whose purpose is to conserve and record Norfolk's linguistic and cultural heritage.

The book is primarily intended as an educational resource for use in schools.  Each page contains an illustration of a word written in Norfolk dialect and its meaning in standard English.  The book is also for personal use but artwork may not be copied or adapted for commercial purposes.

We would like to express our thanks to local fundraiser Pauline Shadbolt.  Without her financial support the printed version of this book would not have been possible.
